Meet Your Physical Therapists
Dr. Kayla Kerek
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Kayla Kerek, PT, DPT, OCS earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health from Miami University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Walsh University. In 2019, she became a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is also trained in neurologic dry needling to help reduce pain, improve muscle function, and support recovery from injury.
Kayla is passionate about helping active adults overcome pain and get back to the activities they love. She takes a personalized, one-on-one approach—listening carefully to each patient’s goals and creating a clear plan to restore movement, build strength, and prevent future injury.
She has experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions including shoulder pain, hip pain, labral injuries, rotator cuff injuries, knee pain, low back pain, ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, neck pain, radiculopathy, tendonitis, and tennis elbow.
Outside the clinic, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, being outdoors, and trying to hit new PRs at the gym.
Dr. Maggie Ray
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Maggie Ray earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toledo in 2012 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015. After working in outpatient orthopedics, she completed an Orthopedic Residency with Next Gen Institute of Physical Therapy in 2018, which led to her becoming a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is also certified in dry needling, which she uses to help reduce pain, improve muscle function, and support recovery from injury.
Maggie is passionate about helping people move better and return to the activities they enjoy. She takes an individualized approach to care, creating treatment plans based on each person’s goals, lifestyle, and movement needs. She has extensive experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, with particular interest in low back pain, radicular pain, shoulder injuries, and headaches.
Outside the clinic, Maggie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, swimming, going to the gym, and drawing.

She is also trained and certified in dry needling for pain, improving function, and sports rehabilitation.
Maggie is passionate about helping people achieve their mobility goals and return to completing the activities they love. She makes individualized treatment plans based on the person’s overall goals, lifestyle, and presented impairments. She has much experience treating many musculoskeletal conditions and has a preference of treating low back pain, radicular pains, shoulder pain, and headaches.
In her free time, Maggie enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, swimming, going to the gym, and drawing.
